This article demonstrates how to manage pop-up blocker settings in common browsers.

Microsoft Edge Pop-up Blocker Settings
Launch Microsoft Edge.
Select the ellipsis button in the upper right corner of your browser window.
A menu will pop up. Select Settings near the bottom of the menu.
Select Cookies and site permissions from the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Scroll down on the Cookies and Site Permissions page and select Pop-ups and redirects.
You can allow pop-ups for specific sites by adding them in the Allow section or block pop-ups for specific sites in the Block section.
In order to use MiraCosta sites effectively, we recommend you add these following sites to the Allow section:
Close the browser and reopen it or refresh your new settings!
Google Chrome Pop-up Blocker Settings
Launch Google Chrome.
Select the ellipsis button in the upper right corner of your browser window.
A menu will pop up. Select Settings near the bottom of the menu.
Select Privacy and security button in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
At the bottom of the menu that appears, select the Site Settings button.
On the Site Settings page, scroll down to the bottom and select the Pop-ups and redirects button.
You can allow pop-ups for specific sites by adding them in the Allowed to send pop-ups or use redirects section or block pop-ups for specific sites in the Not allowed to send pop-ups or use redirects section.
In order to use MiraCosta sites effectively, we recommend you add these following sites to the Allowed to send pop-ups or use redirects section:

Mozilla Firefox Pop-up Blocker Settings
Launch FireFox.
On the upper right corner, select the Hamburger button that displays as 3 horizontal lines. Then, select Settings in the menu that appears.
Select the Privacy & Security button from the left-hand menu.
Scroll down to the Permissions section, and ensure the Block pop-up windows box is checked. To allow pop-up windows for a specific website, click the Exceptions... button next to Warn you when websites try to install add-ons.
In order to use MiraCosta sites effectively, we recommend you add these following sites to the Allowed to send pop-ups or use redirects section:
Click the Save Changes button. Close the browser and reopen it or refresh it to finalize your changes.
Safari Pop-up Blocker Settings
Launch Safari.
On the upper left corner, select on the Safari menu. Click on the Settings button in the menu that pops up.
Select the Websites (blue globe) icon. Scroll to the bottom of the left pane and select the Pop-up Windows button.
In order to use MiraCosta sites effectively, we recommend you add these following sites to the Allow pop-up windows on the websites below section:
Close the dialog box. Finally, quit Safari and reopen it or refresh it to finalize your changes.
