Pay Student Fees & Purchase Student ID Cards | SURF

This article demonstrates how MiraCosta students can pay student fees and purchase student ID cards through SURF and Engage.
How To Pay Student Fees
Go to the SURF home page and select the Log In button.
Enter your SURF ID and Password on the MiraCosta College Login page. Select the Sign In button.
Please read this article if you forgot your password and need to reset it.
Once you are on the Student Center screen, select the Financial Account button.
On the left-hand menu, select the Make a Payment button.
Review your balance due and select the Make a Payment button below.
Review the Optional Fees section before continuing. If you wish to opt out of the Student Representation Fee, leave the checkbox unchecked.
If you are prompted to allow popup windows please do. Visit the Manage Pop-Up Blockers page for more information on how to do this.
In the new window that opens, you can complete the following purchases:
Pay your tuition and registration fees that you will find under the Summary section.
Enroll in a payment plan with monthly installments for Spring or Fall semesters.
Purchase a Student ID Card. Keep reading below for instructions on how to purchase your Student ID Card.

How to Purchase a Student ID Card
First, you must purchase your Student ID Card in SURF. Log in to SURF and click on the Financial Account button.
Click on the Make a Payment button.
Click on the Make a Payment button at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down on the page until you see the Student ID Card button. Click on the button and complete the following steps to pay for your ID card.
Student ID Cards are good for one semester only. The $6 fee is non-refundable.
Now that you have paid for your Student ID Card, you must request your Student ID Card on Engage. Go to Engage and sign in with your SURF ID and Password.
Click on the Menu button in the upper left corner of the page. Then, click on the Forms button.
Once you are on the forms page, scroll down until you see the Spartan Pass Request Form. Click the Start button.
