Microsoft 365

Welcome to Microsoft Office 365 (STUDENTS)

As a registered MiraCosta College (MCC) student, you have access to Microsoft Office 365 (MS O365) apps, including Word, Excel, Access (installed version only), PowerPoint, Outlook Email, and OneDrive which includes up to 1 Terabyte of storage. The MCC MS O365 suite, at no cost to you, allows you to install up to 5 PCs or Macs, to include mobile devices such as phones and tablets. One of the greatest benefits of MS O365 is that you may use it virtually from anywhere. Whether you're on your computer at home, or on the road with your mobile devices, you will have access to the very latest versions of your documents.

Your MCC MS O365 services will be available to you by the first day of the semester. If you enroll after the first day of classes, you’ll have access within 48 business hours.

If you are enrolled in classes, the MiraCosta’s student email address and MS Office 365 apps for NEW/RETURNING students are provisioned 48 business hours from the first day of class. You will then receive an email with information on how to access MS Office 365, and the MCC student email address will be included. And just in case you didn’t receive the provisional email, the same information will be available in your SURF account > Student Center > Message Center > look for a message with the subject "Office 365 and email.

After provisioned, if a student has not been enrolled for two consecutive semesters (semesters being defined as Spring and Fall), the MS Office 365 account will be revoked.

To avoid data loss, please relocate/backup your MiraCosta MS Office 365 data prior to services revocation. It is the responsibility of the student to do so.
