Drop Classes | SURF

This article demonstrates how students can drop classes through SURF.
Instructions
Go to the SURF home page and select the Log In button.
Enter your SURF ID and Password on the MiraCosta College Login page. Select the Sign In button.
Please read this article if you forgot your password and need to reset it.
Once you are on the Student Center screen, select the Manage Classes button.
Click the Drop Classes button on the left-hand menu.
Click the check box next to the class or classes you wish to drop to select them. Click on the Next button in the upper right corner of the page to continue.
Review the class or classes that you have selected in order to make sure they are the classes you would like to drop. Click on the Drop Classes button in the upper right corner to continue.
Click on the Yes button to confirm that you wish to drop your class or classes.
You have now successfully dropped your selected class or classes. You will see a confirmation message on the next screen.
