Find Classes With Zero or Low Textbook Costs | SURF

This article demonstrates how MiraCosta students can search for Zero/Low Textbook Cost Classes through SURF.
What Are Zero or Low Textbooks Cost Classes?
You can go to this link https://hub.miracosta.edu/ztc/ to see a full list of what ZTC and LTC classes are available for each semester.
Instructions
Go to the SURF home page and select the Log In button.
Enter your SURF ID and Password on the MiraCosta College Login page. Select the Sign In button.
Please read this article if you forgot your password and need to reset it.
Once you are on the Student Center screen, select the Manage Classes button.
Click the Class Search and Register button on the left-hand menu.
Select your desired semester by clicking on the semester name.
Search for your desired class in the search box below Search for Classes. If you would like more detailed instructions on how to search for a class, please click on this article Search Classes and Register | SURF.
Scroll down on the left-hand pane until you see a section called Textbook Cost Options. If any of the classes that fit your search criteria are Low/Zero Textbook Cost classes, filters called Low-Cost Textbook Option and Zero-Cost Textbook Option will be available. Click on the checkboxes to the left of the options to filter.
A list of Low Cost Textbook and Zero Cost Textbook classes will now populate.
